I’m Writing A Paper On “Young Goodman Brown” By Nathaniel Hawthorne That’s Due Tomorrow -_____-
Here’s the first paragraph:
In “Young Goodman Brown”, written by Nathaniel Hawthorne in 1835, the titular character travels a physical and spiritual journey that tests his understanding of the world. Through revelations regarding Goodman Brown’s forefathers, “pious” townspeople, and even Brown’s own wife, Hawthorne juxtaposes the dichotomy between the truth as known by an individual with the truth that is the reality which becomes discovered as a person becomes enlightened. While it is inevitable that an individual will travel the journey to enlightenment, whether or not he or she can interpret his or her development is dependent upon that person’s receptiveness to change.
Hopefully it’s not hard. Wish me luck !
